STUM is fully concerned with the plight of children in Malawi

Looking at the high population, severe poverty, and the struggles and challenges Malawians face, we aim to build resilience, grow generosity, and develop character through holistic transformation of children and their families. Our service to children addresses the real issues facing communities and churches: poverty, suffering, rising child abuse, increased street kids, increased defilement cases, child prostitution, high rates of school dropout outs especially amongst girls at primary level of education, orphans and the vulnerable children, high rates of unemployment rate among citizens, and violation of women’s and children’s rights.
